All orders are stored, inspected, and dispatched directly from our domestic UK fulfilment centre. Because inventory is held locally, you will never face unexpected customs charges, import VAT, or weeks-long shipping delays associated with drop-shipped overseas parcels.

Standard delivery is handled via Royal Mail Tracked and typically takes 3 to 5 working days nationwide. Delivery is completely free of charge on all orders over £30. For orders under £30, standard tracked delivery is calculated clearly at checkout.

Yes. Once your order has been packed and scanned onto the Royal Mail dispatch vehicle, you will automatically receive an email confirmation containing your direct tracking code. This allows you to monitor your delivery progress online through to your doorstep.

Because every parcel is dispatched with full Royal Mail GPS tracking, lost shipments are rare. However, if your delivery has exceeded 7 working days from dispatch, contact our customer support team directly with your order number and we will resolve the issue immediately with an express replacement.

Standard commercial wool socks rely on an oversized elastic tube intended to cover shoe sizes 4 to 11. This creates bunched slack at the toes on women's feet and tight, overstretched heels that wear thin quickly on men's feet. We separate our knitting moulds into two distinct profiles:

• Women's Mould (UK 4–8): Narrower instep curve, contoured arch support, and tailored heel cup designed for women's boots and trainers.
• Men's Mould (UK 7–10): Broader forefoot bed, deeper 90-degree heel pocket, and reinforced nylon strike plates designed for heavy walking and work boots.

UK 7 is our crossover boundary. If you have slender feet or intend to wear the socks inside tailored Chelsea boots, loafers, or low-profile lifestyle trainers, select the Women's UK 4–8 mould for a snug, gather-free fit. If you have broad feet or wear heavy leather walking boots, work boots, or wellies, select the Men's UK 7–10 mould for extra forefoot room.

No. Traditional wool itches because its coarse 35-micron fibres remain rigid, poking surface nerve endings. We exclusively knit with fine merino wool fibres measuring 18 to 21 microns in diameter. When in contact with skin, these fibres bend gracefully, providing a cashmere-soft, completely non-scratch feel.

Turn your socks inside out and machine wash at 30°C on a gentle wool cycle using mild liquid wool detergent. Never use fabric softeners or conditioners as they coat the wool fibres in silicone, ruining their natural breathability. Always air dry flat away from direct heat radiators.

No. Tumble drying is the primary cause of wool shrinkage. High mechanical friction combined with heated air causes the wool scales to interlock and felt, while degrading the elastane cuff core. Always air dry flat on a rack or towel.

Pure 100% merino wool is exceptionally soft but lacks the abrasion resistance required to survive friction inside stiff leather boots. We interlock fine merino wool with long-staple combed cotton for body and structural tensile hold, nylon strike reinforcement across the heel and toe to prevent friction holes, and elastane so the top ribbed welt stays up all day.

We offer a 30-day return window on all unworn items in their original packaging sent back to our domestic UK warehouse. If you wish to return your items for a refund, contact us to receive the return instructions.

If you tried on a pair and found the fit too tight or too loose, you can exchange your unworn bundle for an alternative size mould under our 30-day guarantee. Simply reach out via our contact page with your order reference and requested size.

Every pack is inspected during packing at our UK depot. However, if you notice any manufacturing defect or knit imperfection upon opening your parcel, contact our support team immediately with a photo and we will dispatch a free replacement pack the same day.
