For years, mass-market winter socks have treated comfort as an afterthought. Most commercial brands produce cheap, single-tube socks made from scratchy, low-grade wool or synthetic polyester that traps cold sweat. Even worse, they claim a single size fits everyone from UK 4 to UK 11.

We never print motifs onto finished fabrics. Our Selbu stars, geometric chevrons, and eight-petal rose patterns are knitted directly into the fabric using multiple yarn carriers running on precision double-cylinder looms. We exclusively select fine-micron merino fibres measuring between 18 and 21 microns. Unlike scratchy 35-micron sheep's wool that pokes nerve endings, fine merino bends softly against skin. It naturally absorbs up to 35% of its weight in moisture vapour, keeping feet dry, warm, and blister-free.

Dedicated Anatomical Moulds

We reject generic unisex tubes. Our Women’s UK 4–8 mould features a narrower instep and contoured arch band to prevent boot slippage. Our Men’s UK 7–10 mould features an anatomical 90-degree heel pocket and broad toe box reinforced with nylon strike plates.

Our Multi-Fibre Engineering Architecture

While pure 100% merino wool is wonderfully soft, it lacks the abrasion resistance needed to withstand friction inside stiff leather boots and rubber wellies. We interlock three complementary yarn components to create a durable, all-day sock:

Fine Merino Wool Core: Provides active thermodynamic insulation, natural bacterial resistance, and scratch-free skin touch.

Long-Staple Combed Cotton: Adds smooth body, tensile strength, and machine-washable structural hold.

Reinforced Nylon Strike Plates: Double-knitted into the heel and toe strike zones to prevent premature friction holes.

High-Recovery Elastane Welt: Ensures the ribbed cuff stays comfortably in place around your calf without tightness or sagging.
